Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what information 9uicknote handles, why it is used, and how it is protected in practice.
1. Business information
9uicknote is operated by Retrock Inc. Please contact us using the footer links if you have any questions.
2. Information we collect
We collect the information needed to provide the service, including email addresses, public handles, appearance settings, billing status, and note data created by users.
We may also handle lightweight device-side usage records, session-maintenance data, and operational logs needed to understand usage patterns and investigate issues.
3. Purposes of use
Collected information is used for authentication, device sync, billing-state management, and improving the reliability and usability of the service.
4. Cookies and local storage
9uicknote uses cookies, session-related data, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, restore the last-opened note, reflect appearance settings, and maintain lightweight local usage stats.
These technologies may contain identifiers or local settings required for the service to work properly. Restricting them in your browser may cause some features to stop working as intended.
5. Public notes
Notes are private by default. A note becomes publicly viewable only when a user explicitly publishes it, creating a URL based on the public handle and note ID.
Because anyone with the URL can read a published note, users should publish carefully. We apply noindex-style search guidance to public note pages, but we cannot fully prevent third parties from sharing or storing published content.
6. Use of external services
9uicknote relies on external service providers for functions such as authentication, data storage, payments, hosting, and content delivery. Those providers may process information only to the extent necessary for their role.
Sensitive payment details such as full card numbers are processed by external payment providers rather than stored directly by the service operator.
These providers may include cloud services that support authentication, storage, sync, billing, hosting, and delivery.
7. Third-party disclosure
We do not improperly provide personal information to third parties except where required by law. Service providers acting on our behalf may process information to the extent necessary to operate the service.
8. Cross-border handling
Infrastructure used by our service providers may be located outside Japan or distributed across multiple countries. Even in such cases, we choose providers we consider appropriate and take reasonable steps for information security.
9. Security measures
9uicknote uses practical safeguards such as authentication, access control, safe use of external services, and input validation. However, complete security cannot be guaranteed for internet communications or software operations.
10. Retention period
We retain account and note data to the extent needed while an account remains active. Retention and deletion may differ where required by law, security, or operational needs.
11. Access, changes, and deletion
Users can review and change certain information directly within the service. For deletion requests or other support, please contact us as needed.
Published notes can be made private again by the user, but content already copied or stored by third parties may remain outside our control.
12. Policy updates
We may update this Policy in response to legal changes, new features, or operational changes. Important updates will be communicated in the service or by another appropriate method.
13. Contact
